River Run is another from a scene on the beautiful Withlacoochee River at Yankeetown south of Cedar Key, near its entrance to the Gulf. At this point the water is more salty than fresh and feels more like salt marsh than river. Many people when they see this image think it is one of our spring fed clear Florida rivers, but that was true artistic license to make it vibrant and turquoise.
